A company launched by classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts is considering Loudoun County for a dining and exhibition space called Gas Haus Car Bar and Auto Lounge.
Gas Haus Holdings has requested an advisory opinion from the county regarding the potential use classifications and zoning requirements for its proposed business to establish Gas Haus as “a premier destination for car [and] motorcycle enthusiasts.”
A specific location has not been disclosed. The company's Twitter page notes Ashburn as its location.
Gas Haus is proposing to hold 350 cars and 100 motorcycles in its 52,000-square-foot, climate-controlled, secure facility. The storage facility intends to offer several options, including three-tier lifts, ground storage, display areas and private spaces, according to its request.
The pitched event and venue space for music is 5,000 square feet, and the outdoor patio is proposed at 3,255 square feet.
Meanwhile, plans for an indoor-outdoor restaurant where diners can look out over the stored classic cars call for 10,000 square feet of space.
A number of membership levels will be offered for enthusiasts and collectors, according to the proposal.
Tours of the facility will also be available every day, and several events will be held throughout the year, including weekend cars and coffee, motorcycles and coffee and indoor get togethers during the winter, per the plans.
Gas Haus Car Bar and Auto Lounge is aiming to open this summer.
