A Lancaster man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 83 in Harrisburg Saturday evening.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Harrisburg, 52-year-old James Bacon died after the crash at the northbound exit ramp to Second Street. The crash occurred around 7:28 p.m.
Police say Bacon’s 1995 Harley-Davidson hit a concrete barrier to the right of the roadway, throwing him over the barrier.
Bacon, who was wearing a helmet, died as a result of the crash, police say.
