Pantry Road and Mountain Drive in Hatfield.
A motorcycle crash in Western Massachusetts claimed the life of a rider early Saturday.
A 39-year-old man was riding in North Hatfield when his motorcycle went off the road at the intersections of Pantry Road and Mountain Drive.
A nearby resident called 911 at 1:19 a.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and he was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office as well as the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section.
