Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Kosciusko County - wpta21.com

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) - A motorcyclist from Rochester died at the scene of a crash this evening in Kosciusko County.

Deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team responded to a crash on CR 1100 W, south of CR 1200 N Scott Township just before 6 p.m. Monday night.

The preliminary investigation indicates 26-year-old Bryce Hershberger was traveling southbound on a motorcycle and Kathryn Miller was traveling northbound.

Miller to made a left-hand turn onto a private driveway when she crossed Hershberger’s path of travel and Hershberger’s motorcycle struck the passenger side of Miller’s Chrysler Town and Country minivan, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said Hershberger was wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.

Miller was not injured and this collision remains under investigation, according to the Sheriff's Office.
