Sutherlin Police jailed a man for having a stolen motorcycle on Sunday.
Captain Kurt Sorenson told News Radio 1240 KQEN at about 3:30 p.m. the motorcycle was spotted in a driveway in the 100 block of Northside Road. It had been reported stolen from a residence in Sutherlin on September 18th.
Sorenson said during the investigation it was determined that 47-year old Jimmy Prater was in possession of the bike. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motorcycle and for two outstanding warrants that were out for his arrest. After arraignment, bail was set at $10,000.
