Colorado State Patrol on Friday found a motorcycle and truck abandoned after arriving on scene following a report of a crash in southwestern Boulder County.
Colorado State Patrol were notified of a collision between a truck and motorcycle at 11:50 a.m. Friday on Colo. 72 in Coal Creek Canyon, Master Trooper Gary Cutler said.
According to emergency radio traffic, the incident had been phoned in by a clerk at the post office in Pinecliffe, who had learned of the incident from a third party.
Cutler said when state patrol arrived on scene, both vehicles were on the side of the road and had been abandoned.
“There was nobody around there,” he said.
Cutler said the crash is under investigation.
