George G. Mendoza, 63, of Rome was riding the motorcycle that collided with a car Sunday in Rome, police said.
Mendoza was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. He is in critical, but stable, condition, police said.
Police identified the driver of the car as Lauren Langston, 24, of Rome.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The car and motorcycle collided around 1:05 p.m. Sunday on Black River Boulevard near East Chestnut Street.
