CLOSE

A motorcyclist died in a crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway Friday night. 

Police are on scene and didn't have any other information, as of 10:15 p.m., but the parkway is at standstill in the area. 

The crash affected both the northbound and southbound sides near Lincoln Avenue. 

For the foreseeable future, the Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed:

  • northbound at Lincoln Avenue
  • southbound at the Wartburg Nursing Home exit at the Pelham/Mount Vernon border
  • at the Hutchinson Boulevard exit
  • at the Cross County Parkway exit 

Police are ask drivers to avoid the area. 

This is accident is in the same vicinity as the triple-fatal, early Friday morning crash.
